As a not-for-profit, it is vital to our mission that Byron Wellness Community remains good financial stewards and neighbors in our community. We do not work to drive profit for a corporation but rather invest our resources back into our residents, staff and creative programming to meet the needs of those we serve. Your generosity helps to support our mission and reach our vision.
How can you donate? You can click the corresponding link on your donation choice listed below, or we can accept check, credit card, and cash. If you would like to designate your gift specifically, please let us know. The areas below are highlighted opportunities to support our organization in different ways.

Amazon - Christmas Angels
Our Byron Christmas Angels program helps bring holiday joy to our residents by fulfilling their personal Christmas wish lists. Each resident shares a few simple wishes - from cozy clothing and comfort items to favorite treats and small gifts - that reflect their individual interests and needs.
If you are unable to visit in person and "adopt” a resident’s wish list you can still help our via our Amazon Wish List! Every donation helps us make the season brighter for all who call Byron home.
Special Resident Events
Your donation to our Special Resident Events fund helps provide exciting community outings, from TinCaps baseball and Komets hockey games to local festivals, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, and other local special events. These experiences bring joy, connection, and lasting memories to our residents. Thank you for helping us provide these special local community events!
Giving Tuesday - Touch2Play
Your Giving Tuesday donation helps us bring the Touch2Play Interactive Table to our residents - a large, touchscreen game table designed for fun, engagement, and connection. This innovative device offers hundreds of games, puzzles, and activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and pure enjoyment for residents of all abilities.

Byron Foundation
Our Byron Foundation funds the Cognitive Engagement Programming with Elaine and Meredyth, our LAUNCH High School Based Learning Internship Program, as well as our Professional Development Program. Thank you for helping us provide these opportunities to our team members!
Employee Emergency Fund
Our Employee Emergency Fund assists our team members during times of unexpected financial struggles, such as car repair, increased utility bills or funeral costs. Our team members submit a request to the Emergency Fund Committee, made up of a committee of their peers, with necessary documentation to show the details related to their need. Thank you for assisting us in helping our team during times of financial stress!
